As AI Policy and Governance Manager, you’ll develop and implement policy initiatives on AI related topics like privacy, fairness, transparency, amongst others. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and cross-functional partners across the company, as well as with policy makers, academics, civil society representatives and industry peers.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 5+ years of experience with privacy, data security, or technology policy issues. You have experience engaging with policymakers and stakeholders on technology policy issues, including those related to artificial intelligence and machine learning.
As AI Policy and Governance Manager, you will:
- Track and analyze global legislative and regulatory proposals around AI.
- Evaluate the potential impact of AI policy trends on the company’s development and deployment of AI processes and AI-powered products.
- Synthesize external policy developments to provide actionable guidance to product teams.
- Work closely with cross-functional global teams to develop and communicate the company’s positions on AI policy issues and proposals.
- Support the development of content for global audiences (op-eds, position papers, 2-pagers, etc.).
