Class A delivery driver

California, Class A Transportation, Driver

We are looking for a Class A Drivers for our Newark Location.

This is a drop and hook position, however, we need someone who wants to be a team player and help out when it is needed.

You must have a minimum of 1 year of Class A driving experience, have a clean DMV Print out, be able to pass a drug and background, pass TSA , and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Starting between 1-3pm with Daily overtime

Essential Functions:

1. Follow the directions of section leader and assistant foremen.
2. Change rolls of plastic on bag machines.
3. Assist bag machine inspectors with their job when you have time. This
includes relieving them for breaks, and getting packing supplies for them.
4. Assist section leader and assistant foremen with machine operations. When
instructed to do so, help with set ups, adjustments, trouble shooting, and
repairs.
5. Check bag quality throughout the shift.
6. Cut and drill chipboard.
7. Work safely
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Provide help in other areas of the factory when needed.
2. Work overtime required to meet department needs.
3. Complete forklift certification training.
4. Responsible for reporting any food safety issues
5. Responsible for complying with all GMP’s
Qualifications:
1. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
2. Ability to work with others.
3. Must show proficiency in basic math.
4. Ability to learn quickly.

In this role, you’ll be primarily responsible for completing interior installations/repairs (up to brand standards) as well as keeping operations managers informed of potential repairs, actions being taken, and the status of any major maintenance projects. We’re looking for candidates who have a service attitude, a desire to transform your career, and an entrepreneurial spirit. The ideal candidate is a stickler for detail, proactive, skilled in general maintenance tasks, and thoughtful as to ensure that the property is continuously in pristine condition for our client’s guests. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll   Install furniture, lights, home appliances, mirrors, and artwork (as required based on furnishing standards). Conduct repairs as needed, (e.g. carpentry, handyman tasks, and light painting tasks). Troubleshoot and repair where possible. Arrange repairs with a specialist appliance engineer. Conduct inspections and provide a snag list for the apartments. Liaise with contractors on maintenance tasks (e.g. appliances, plumbing, electrical work, etc.) that are specialized and, if needed, hand over, communicate, and perform follow up checks with them. Assist guests with maintenance/technical issues (e.g. electrical, plumbing, and carpentry) related to their stay at the property in order to support a positive guest experience. Assist in delivering missing items to clients, such as glassware, lighting, small appliances, etc. Requirements 5+ years experience as a general maintenance/repairs technician or in a similar role Proven experience in repairing home appliances Experience dealing with spare parts and knowledge of suppliers to source them Eye for details, and the ability to inspect apartments and provide accurate reports/snag list Strong knowledge of maintenance/technical procedures and practices Client-oriented with very good communication skills Flexibility in schedule and ability to attend to emergencies as needed Appropriate certifications for the equipment in use Flexibility to work Tuesday – Saturday Great problem-solving skills Commitment:This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position staffed based in New York, NY. In this role, you’ll lead a team of electrical engineers while still performing technical tasks in order to accomplish company objectives.   We’re seeking an Electrical Test Engineer with a passion for up-fitting existing vehicles with AV technology and compelling rider and safety driver experiences.    The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of experience in vehicle engineering design or testing for hardware products.    As Electrical Test Engineer, you’ll be:   Responsible for test and validation of electrical architectures and designs on different vehicle platforms.  Responsible for development and execution of test plans at the component, system and vehicle level.  Participating in quality, safety, project, production, peer, and cross-functional reviews, ensuring that all electrical engineering deliverables are met.  Collaborating with other teams to ensure the product safety, including Mechanical, Supply Chain, Functional Safety, Cyber Security, Software, Autonomy, Production, Quality, and Test and Validation teams.  Ensuring proper engineering response is provided for testing of new design and engineering changes of existing products and design.  Evaluating and implementing proper electrical testing methods for sensors, actuators, and electrical and compute hardware.  Troubleshooting hardware and system related issues.  Implementing prototypes at the bench and vehicle level.   Leading continuous improvement efforts, research, recommendations and implementation of enhancements to tools and testing methodologies.  Ensuring all necessary engineering documentation, test reports, and data are generated and maintained to ensure traceability and compliance.  Supporting different functional disciplines with all aspects related to electrical hardware. – Performing complex work assignments requiring independent problem solving and decision making, requiring strong electrical technical competency Ensuring engineering timing plans, defect / issues lists, risk assessments, lessons learned are created and maintained and providing engineering status for project reviews (e.g. gate, design, milestones, etc.) according to program timing for all projects.  Supporting all Program Management driven reviews (e.g. Gate reviews), leveraging excellent communication to advocate for your solutions, working seamlessly across teams, functions and with customers.  Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering  2+ years experience in vehicle engineering design or testing for hardware products  Familiarity with ISO26262 standards  Proficiency in electrical design and troubleshooting of complex electrical systems  Familiar with electrical schematic and electrical harness design  Systems-level thinking and ability to understand architecture diagrams Experience using electronic test and measurement lab equipment Knowledge in structured problem solving techniques   Troubleshooting and debugging skills  Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Autonomous Driving, or Robotics 3+ years experience working on electrified systems, such as real-world robotic or autonomous driving systems  Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance  Experience working in a startup  ISTQB experience Commitment: This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position based on-site in Ann Arbor, MI.  Our client values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
