In this role, you will lead the web analytics audit, implementation and the measurement strategy. You will work cross-functionally with several teams across the company (i.e. product marketing, ad revenue, content publishing, marketing operations and engineering). We are looking for someone with a combination of advance digital analytics skills, SQL expertise, project management knacks and the ability to deliver in a dynamic environment with moving priorities. Ideally, you are passionate about data pipelines, view the world through an analytical lens and are intellectually curious. You learn quickly with the ability to move fast while maintaining focus on high-impact projects. As Digital Analytics Manager, you will: Web Analytics Audit and Data Framework:Provide gap analysis of current page/event tracking in GA 360. Design the data collection framework for GA4 by organizing user interactions into logical categories and subcategories. Ensure the data is consistent, intuitively named and thorough. Digital Analytics Implementation and Tag Management:Lead the transition from GA Universal Analytics to GA4. This will encompass end to end implementation including datalayer, GTM and transitioning web reports. Configure funnels, goals and custom reports to meet business/stakeholder needs. Develop tag management strategy with the goal of improving marketing, agility, site performance, data consistency and governance. Support the transition of web analytics data into a data warehouse. Measurement Strategy:Map each goal to distinct actions on digital properties to get proper tracking and reporting in place. Partner with stakeholders to understand business goals, KPIs and design conversion tracking framework for owned and paid digital properties. Data Visualization and Optimization:Create Google Data Studio dashboards merging data from disparate sources. Automation of web reports including data integration and front-end report design. Partner with CRO specialist on web optimization strategy. Requirements 4+ years of web analytics experience with hands-on experience auditing website tracking, implementing/testing digital analytics tools and creating dashboards with multiple data sources Expert level user of Google Analytics 360 and Tag Manager (GA4 experience is a must) Proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel (i.e. VBA, macros, scripts, formulas, data visualization, etc.),PowerPoint and statistical software packages (SAS), BigQuery Proven technical experience with user journey mapping, conversion tracking and trend analysis Strong project management skills Expert knowledge on campaign, event, user, and page-level tracking Hands on experience with platforms like Supermetrics, Google Ads, Google Optimize, hotjar is preferred Prior experience of working in a digital agency/client-facing role is strongly preferred Commitment: _This is a full-time (40 hours per week), 11-month contract position. This role is 70% technical with 30% project management & stakeholder management. We need the candidate to have experience with GA4 and GTM. Additional responsibilities include: Develop cohesive measurement strategies and planning that ensures data collection aligns to stakeholder priorities. Architect data layer specifications Coordinate with development teams to implement data layer requirements Provide QA and feedback on completed data layer implementation work Help to configure tag and pixel implementations using tools like Google Tag Manager Position is more on the implementation side – tracking on the web pages using GTM and GA4 – Both are needed.
